About Us

Who We  Are

The Cairns African Association (CAA) is a community-based organisation dedicated to supporting, connecting, and celebrating people of African heritage living in Cairns and the surrounding regions.

We exist to bring people together, foster a strong sense of belonging, and promote the rich cultural diversity of Africa within Far North Queensland. Through cultural events, community initiatives, and partnerships, we work to strengthen connections within our community while engaging positively with the wider Cairns community.
